Federal Skilled Workers

This category is for people who have both work experience and skills needed in Canada. To qualify, applicants must obtain a minimum score of 67 on CIC’s skilled worker self-assessment test. This test gives applicants points for age, education, work experience, and proficiency in English or French, adaptability, and arranged employment in Canada. Currently, priority is being given to applicants who have skills related to the information technology and medical industries. Goldyear Business Group can assist you to determine your score on the self-assessment test, advise you on the fastest way to gain permanent residence as a skilled worker, and prepare your case to help ensure that it is resolved quickly.
